RECOMMENDED
SAFE OPERATING PRACTICES
|
|
|
| 1. |
Always
wear protective glasses, and dust proof mask when grinding with fibre
discs. |
| 2. |
Never
use a disc for grinding with a backup pad, which diameter is too small
or which is worn or tore. The diameter of a proper backup pad should
be smaller than the diameter of the fibre disc in use by 10mm to 30mm.
|
| 3. |
Make
sure all the dimensions are correctly chosen, esp. the hole size
should match with the diameter of the spindle.
|
| 4. |
It
is better to apply fibre disc with an angle between 15 to 30degrees,
and it is important not to bump the fibre disc on the workpiece when
grinding. |
| 5. |
When
storing, keep the fibre discs away from direct sunshine, high
temperature, or too much or too less humidity. |
