Saw Gumming Wheels

Back to Kinik Products

Saw gumming wheels are primarily used for shaping and re-sharpening of various types of saws principally in the timber and woodworking industries as well as saw manufacturers.

Wheels are furnished in types 1 (straight) and 13 (saucer) designs with either a straight or a variety of face shapes. Vitrified bonded specifications are approved for low speed operation (2000m/min.) Resinoid bonded specifications are approved for use up to 3000m/min. The trend is toward more extensive use of resinoid wheels, since newer machine models tend to have speeds that are excessive for the use of vitrified wheels.
